what updates? please be more specific, are you talking about from Tiger (10.4) to Leopard (10.5)? or something else?
Mac OS X is supplied with all Macs. Updates can be downloaded with the Mac's Software Update. New versions can be purchased from Apple stores and other retailers. There are no other legitimate sources.
Since Mac OS-X 10.2.8, 10.3 and all of its updates were released. Then came 10.4 and we hav had 10 significant updates and I am currently running the most recent version: 10.4.10 Mac OS-X 10.5 will be next and they are currently developing it.
