It is all about preference. I prefer a Golden Retriever. There are good things and bad things about each one. If you are looking for more of a herding dog, then I recommend the Border Collie; however, I am sure that Golden Retrievers can be trained to herd. Golden Retrievers were originally bred to retrieve. Where the dog is going to live is also very important. Both of these breeds of dogs need lots of exercise. Golden Retrievers are also known to be great family pets. It just depends on so many things, but i hope you end up getting the right dog for you.
All breed dogs have five claws so, Golden Retrievers have a fifth claw called a DEWCLAW.
dogsya dogs are i have one and they are so nice and cooperative i mean golden retrievers.
because it is so small
Some Golden Retrievers are hunting dogs. Once upon a time all Golden retrievers were hunters but when people found out how good of a pet they made many kept them for pets only and bred the hunting instinct out of them, also the Golden Retriever Club of America rewrote the standard for the show dog so that the body type is to stocky and heavy for a hunting dog and the longer hair of the show dog limits its usefulness as a hunter. As a result of these changes few Golden Retrievers today will hunt and there has not been a dual champ ( a field champ & a bench champ) for many, many years. To find a good hunting Golden Retriever you must go to a breeder of hunting Golden Retrievers.
Any breed can be trained to do so.
Yes they can rip your face off but it's to kind to do thatAnswerThe joke: Golden retrievers are so loyal they are loyal to everyoneGOLDEN RETRIEVERS ARE LARGE DOGSThat means they can hurt you!
Golden Retrievers are good pets for children because they are very friendly dogs, but they do need training and a lot of care. They need walks everyday and they shed, so they will need to constantly be groomed.
they are different by their fur, golden retrievers have long while labs have short. and by what they were used for (their nature) labs were taken on fishing boats over freezing waters, so if a fish escaped, they could swim in after it, golden retrievers were not really used at all. and the amount of shedding golden's shed A LOT! they are similar by their popularity in the U.S, they do both retrieve although the lab tends to do more, both are usually good with kids, and are taught easily. (golden retrievers came from labs)
i personally like both of them a beagle is a hound so it would sniff out everything and a golden retriever is an active dog breed. they are both great family dogs and love children. golden retrievers are really easy to train and beagles, not so much. beagles are better for hunting families and golden retrievers are best all around
I don't think so but it might depend on the plane.
All 13-week-old golden retrievers are naturally fluffy unless they are shaved, I recommend not shaving your puppy because the fluff makes it so cute!
