There are two ways to look at this. If you are looking for the natural odds, or the odds out of the entire population (which would assume the president being elected at random with no selection) would be 11 in 480,000,000 or 1 in 43,000,000.
This, however, is not how presidents are elected. To get 'true odds', you can only count the number of people who are actually going to RUN for president, assuming you are one of them. In each election, an average of 12 people are running for president in the beginning. Therefore, your true odds of becoming president in any one term election is 1 in 12.

∙ 11y agoThis is a tough question to answer because there are several factors and qualifications that have to be met. Odds of Life has calculated that the odds of a natural born citizen becoming the President of the US is 1 in 16,884,774. The average President's term is 5.36 years. Assuming the average person lives about 80 years, they have 45 years when they can be elected (the President must be at least 35 years of age). That gives them about 8.389 chances to be elected. According to the US Census Bureau, there were approximately 162,828,035 American citizens over the age of 35 in 2010. Only 87% of those are natural born citizens , which allows them to be eligible for office. Therefore, 87% of the 35+ citizens would be eligible to run, leaving a 1 in 16,884,774 chance of being elected over the course of your lifetime. You can see Odds of Life's post at the link below.

I would personally prepare for a meeting with the president because you want to seem like you have everything togther, like you know what your talking about. When meeting the president you want to present yourself in a busniess type way to get him to have a good first impression on you.
The odds change on every given meeting granted who is playing, where, who's hot or not, who is in net, where each team is in the standings, etc. To get current odds on any match check with legitimate Sports evaluation establishments.
