Animals = lungs Fish = gills
Animals use different types of organs for protection. For instance, the skin is the largest organ of the animals that is generally used to protect the inner parts of the animals.
well, when animals breath, it gives them energy. just like us humans, organs inside the body use food and/or respiration to form energy, just like a cheetah uses water to hydrate.
Lungs and Gills are both used for external respiration
The Gills
Oxygen is a product of photosynthesis that is used by plants and animals for respiration.

Organs of Respiration in Mammals:Mainly the respiratory systems of mammals consist1-Nose2-Trachea3-Bronchi4-AlveoliThese organs are used for breathing in Mammals.
It is how animals respire, or breathe. We humans respire with lungs. Not all animals have lungs. For example, fish have gills, which they use to respire. Frogs breathe through their skin. All mammals (animals with hair) have lungs though, so they breathe like we do.
There are several commercial uses for different body parts of animals. The meat of many animals is sold as food as are the internal organs. The intestines of many animals are used as natural casings for sausages. The skin is used to make leather or fur. Bones are used to make tools or decorative items. Bones are also used to make the gelatine used in cooking.
The gas in the atmosphere important to respiration is oxygen. It is taken in by animals during breathing and used in cellular respiration to produce energy for their cells.
amphibians use several different methods of respiration depending on their species and age. 1. cutaneous respiration 2. buccopharyngeal respiration 3. pulmonary respiration 4. gill respiration
