In general, most Japanese people love to travel. Whether it be exploring places within their own country or by visiting foreign countries. If they have even a small amount of free time, they spend it taking a trip somewhere and as is tradition, they bring back omiyage (souvenirs) for friends, family, and co-workers.

If this question pertains to something to do after work, the answer varies by person. Most business men prefer to hit up a snack bar before heading home, where they can drink, snack on foods, and some times Karaoke their troubles away. Others either enroll them selves into a sport, dance, craft class, cooking class, flower arranging class, or something that they love to do that they can get a license in. The answer varies but they usually find something interesting to do.
