What are the positive effects on logging?

OK just to start I am on the total opposing side to this but I found a few good reasons.

1. It gives lots of people, who would otherwise be jobless, employment, which in turn would increase their standard of life,etc.

2. It supplies the economy with raw materials such as a pulp for paper, wood for chairs, and desks and so on.

3. It gives room for grazing land and land for crops (which would create even more jobs) and increases standard of life, which is especially needed in 3rd world countries.

4. Some forests are full of invasive species and plants, such as the Argentina Adenophora which can kill animals and their habitats.

5. In addition to points 1,2, and 3, deforestation gives many communities the same opportunities to make positive changes in their lives, like making a community.

6. Deforestation often occurs to make communication or transportation easier, which improves an areas economy.

7. It gives rooms for things like offices, hospitals, schools which helps a community more than a bit of forest.

8. Often it helps transport good like oil a lot cheaper and faster. That is more important than a few thousand trees.
