positives: it brought trade and new goods to Europe and Africa, established relationships between the world as a whole (excluding Asia, sorry Asia!), created a new source of wealth for the europeans

It is hard to say that there are really any positives to colonialism. Colonialism is the name given to the practice of gaining control of homes different peoples through out the world using force of arms. this is in fact no less then armed robbery. the advantages were that people became wealthy as a result of the property and hard work of people that could not defend themselves against aggression. There was a saying that Was used in schools as late as the 60s that spoke of the dark races as the white mans burden. The real burden was carrying of the dark mans wealth like a thief in the day. The burden now is to make good the political mess that has been left behind by colonialism.
There were many new animals and plants in the Americas that Europeans had never seen. And, Europeans brought plants and animals to the New World that America had never seen. The Colombian Exchange was also a cultural exchange. New agricultural developments were traded, economic activity and opportunities opened up between the New and Old Worlds, and new ideas were exchanged.
People say that the Columbian Exchange occurred but it really didn't benefit the people of the New World very much.
We usually describe this in purely economic terms, but it is also biological. Researchers increasingly think that the most important cargo on these early transoceanic voyages was not silk and tons of silver but plants and animals, many of them accidental stowaways.
Before Columbus, the parasites that cause malaria were rampant in Eurasia and Africa but unknown in the Americas. Transported in the bodies of sailors, malaria may have crossed the ocean as early as Columbus's second voyage. Yellow fever, malaria's frequent companion, soon followed.
For the New World was the loss of 90 percent of the native population due to diseases that they never had seen before. There had been about 80 million and only around 720,000 were left. The land appeared to be empty.
From the Old World to the New: The deadly smallpox, malaria, yellow fever, gonorrhea, chlamydia, common cold, measles, influenza, chickenpox, cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, slaves from Africa, barley, wheat, rye, sugar cane, coffee, dandelions and ragweed.
From the New World to the Old: Tobacco, syphilis, corn, squash, beans, most importantly potatoes, turkeys, llamas, peanuts, pumpkins and peppers.
the positives were that people brought food clothing and new foods
Abundant crops and livestock were two positive effects of the Columbian exchange.
They made it
Europeans were mainly by the crop tobacco. It grew well and was cheap and popular.
When Britain took control of all of Canada in 1759-60 the British living in the area were positively affected. The many British, Scottish, Irish living elsewhere in Canada did not have to worry as much about French attacks. Those living in what is today Southern Ontario and Quebec were most positively affected.
Many of the native American tribes who were already in the Americas were overthrown by the Europeans such as the aztects being overthrown by Spanish conquistadors.
African communities were not devastated by European diseases as American communities were.
Great commercial boom and population increased. New food crops from the Americas : maize ( corn ) , sweet potatoes and peanuts. Because these crops could be grown on inferior soils without irrigation, Chinese cultivation spread quickly through the hilly and marginal areas that bordered on the irrigated rice lands of southern China. They became vital supplements to the staple rice or millet diet of the Chinese people, particularly those of the rapidly growing southern regions. These plants also became an important hedge against famine. population growth and commercial growth .

"altering public space" is how your presence has affected those around you either negatively or positively.
The Columbian exchange affected the rest of the world by the movement of living things such as plants, animals, and diseases between the eastern and western hemispheres.
They affected it positively, because we wouldn't know what we know today! We wouldn't know that DNA is like a spiral staircase and how it works with the complementary base pairs.
Oh yes. The Jews, the Aryans, the Gypsies, the disabled (mental and physical). Some of these were positively affected. Some of these were negatively affected.
Sense of taste is largely affected by the sense of smell. So outside odors will positively or negatively affect the sense of taste.
A large population can have both positive and negative effects on children. While it can provide more opportunities for social interaction and diverse experiences, it can also lead to increased competition for resources like education, healthcare, and housing. Thus, the impact of a large population on children can vary depending on the specific circumstances and the resources available.
The Columbian Exchange affected both the New World and the Old World, both positively and negatively. For example, people exchanged knowledge and technical advancements which helped those who did not have that information. But the "exchange" also, unwittingly, transferred diseases, plant diseases, animal diseases, etc. Many countries STILL fight problems of animals and plants that were brought to their countries and overcame plants and animals native to those areas. This is why countries have strict rules about what travelers can bring into their countries.
AutosInfo is a great place to get quotes from multiple different insurance companies. I would imagine that the price would be affected positively or negatively by the driver's driving history.
