Mk3 Mondeo diesel 2001 onwards were built with defective crankshaft pulley which drives the large serpentine auxiliary drive belt. at idle speed it rotates slightly off centre which sets up oscillations in the drive belt causing major resonance. The loud drumming sound disappears when revs reach 1000rpm. Ford service bulletin issued to replace pulley with revised item and also replace belt and belt tensioner.
Because its a diesel!
You eating the engine.
What are the causes and sources of vibration on diesel
No, putting gasoline in a diesel will destroy the diesel engine.
It is a chemical process. The diesel gets compressed with air which in turn causes heat which in turn causes combustion.
Unburnt fuel
No pressure requirements for diesel much greater. There were some farm tractors built in the 1940's that started on gasoline (petrol), and switched to diesel when the engine was warmed up. So it is possible.
No. A petrol or gasoline engine will not run on diesel fuel.
Yes it is possible to push start a diesel engine vehicle.
Sharp power pulses.
possible blown head gasket, and a fuel leak /// unless is a diesel engine, in which case it probably running too rich, possible turbo, possible valve timing, possible intercooler
one of the causes is bad low quality fuel
