It produces Sodium salt and Ammonia
It reacts with oxygen in air to form sodium oxide (Na2O) and some sodium peroxide (Na2O2) and reacts with nitrogen to form some sodium nitride (Na3N).
sodium sulfite formed sodium sulfite formed
Sodium bromide(NaBr) is formed
Sodium Nitride is Na3N
I think it is NaNO and H4. But I don't think NaNO and H4 really exists.
sodium in water reacts by this mechanism; Na + H2O = NaOH + H when ballanced this is; 2Na + 2H2O = 2NaOH + H2 the end products are sodium hydroxide and hydrogen gas (which normally burns due to the heat of the reaction) and of course there remains unreacted water. please be carefull when doing this though because the reaction is violent and the sodium hydroxide formed is very caustic (dangerous to get on your skin or eyes)
Sodium Flouride (NaF) :)
Yes. Sodium nitride is ionic as are all sodium compounds.
Sodium reacts with water to produce Sodium hydroxide and Hydrogen gas.2Na + 2H2O = 2NaOH + H2
Yes.
Ammonia and sodium chloride are formed.
Sodium sulphate + water formed
