Sarcoidosis is such an odd disease. It can affect the lungs, skin, lymph nodes, blood vessels and more. It produces, in many cases, lumps or nodules. It may be genetic, or environmental or do to other causes that just can't be explained. I would ask you doctor where it is. How did he make the diagnosis? Also ask what can you do for it. Is it causing you problems? Many times it "goes away" on it own or can come back. Such a very odd problem. I have it and two of my 3 daughters have it. We all have it in different places.
