The denouement of the "Cinderella" story is when Cinderella's foot fits the glass slipper, and she and the Prince are reunited. They get married in a splendorous ceremony, and Cinderella forgives her wicked stepsisters. They all lived happily ever after.

Sure! Here's an example using the story of "Cinderella": Plot diagram: Exposition: Cinderella is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Inciting Incident: Cinderella's Fairy Godmother helps her attend the royal ball. Rising Action: Cinderella meets the prince at the ball and they fall in love. Climax: The clock strikes midnight, and Cinderella has to leave, losing her glass slipper. Falling Action: The prince searches for Cinderella based on the lost slipper. Resolution: Cinderella tries on the slipper, fits perfectly, and she marries the prince. I hope this helps illustrate how the elements of a story fit into a plot diagram!
Yes it did - proven by the fact that in telling from one person to another, it crosssed over from one language to another. In the original story, CInderella's foot exactly fitted the FUR slipper (French: "vair", squirrel fur). Yet it later became the GLASS slipper (French: "verre") - so it was taken from one country to another by someone who spoke good - but not perfect - French.

They did NOT write it they collected stroies from all over Germany and Cinderella was collected! However they did change it a little bit when they were being told the story they heard "glass" instead of "fur" slipper! They sound alike in german!
