The Jelly baby doesn't actually have more energy, although it seems as if it does as you feel quite energetic after eating one, more so than after eating a carrot. You actually get more energy from a carrot as the jelly baby gives you a small burst of energy, but then you feel deflated as the energy is gone but the carrot gives more energy, slower than a jelly baby-it lasts longer as instead of one big burst, it gives smaller bursts of energy throughout a longer period of time-so lasting longer.
