this is a tough question. dont take my word for it, but maybe i can clarify. there are 3 tectonic plates in that area. the north american plate, caribbean plate, and the co cos plate. guatemala remember, is right under mexico. so its really close to the caribbean plate. i personally think it on the north american plate. please rate this and hope i helped thnx! :) ☺
