Comedians are one of the least liable kinds of people on this planet. They can get away with most comments actually. The main reason for this is because they aren't intended to be taken seriously, so they aren't. The only time that they're ever taken seriously is when they make a statement that is a blatant insult. I can't bring myself to type an example, but I think that you can guess what kind of comments comedians couldn't get away with. Well, usually, said comedians are taking advantage of what is called a double standard. They can be racist, but only to their own race. They also sometimes get away with slight racism towards other races, though this is rare.
This attitude is the result of a double standard.
