To become a Hunter and be a maiden of Artemis all you have to do is pledge yourself to her.
"I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis.
I turn my back on the company of men,
accept eternal maidenhood,
and join the Hunt."
After you have said the pledge Artemis has to accept your offering.
Please note you must be a girl to be a Maiden and a Hunter of Artemis, for she does not like the company of men and will usually try to turn them in to an animal if they take this oath. She may be forgiving to some men though and leave them be with a warning.
In the Percy Jackson series, one must be a girl in join Artemis's hunt-- presumably a girl "about middle school age" according to Percy, although the exact age limits are not defined in the books. Not sure if virginity is actually required, though it is in traditional Greek mythology. Hope that helped.
First you have to be a girl, and you have to be willing to, you have to swear you won't very marry, and you have to be brave.
(According to Percy Jackson and the Olympiains Book Three: The Titan's Curse) Say this:"I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis.I turn my back on the company of men, accept enternal maidenhood, and join the Hunt."Then Artemis would have to accept your pledge. This means you can never grow up, never get married. You have to be a maiden enternally. So you cannot fall in love with a boy. If you don't break your oath and don't get chopped up by monsters, you will not die or even become sick. You will be young forever. Oh, only GIRLS can join the Hunters of Artemis.

That depends on your opinion. I thought the part where Butler fights the troll was interesting. I thought it was either when Artemis catches Holly, or when Holly tracks down a troll.
I don't think you can unless you are a movie star or something.

She was the goddess of the wilderness and wild animals, it was natural that as people began to hunt, these animals would be seen as under Artemis' domain and protection, so they would prey for a good hunt - as she was thought to hunt within the wilderness - and if the hunters were successful she was given part of the kill, and if not, it was probably told that the hunters had offended her.
