Because Supervisors have so much power we need to make sure they understand how Answers.com works. These are the minimum requirements:
- You must be at least 15 years of age.
- Ask at least three questions.
(You can ask anything, whether or not you know the answer.)
- Contribute at least 10 answers or improvements to answers.
- Make at least 15 assorted edits, e.g. improving questions, moving them, adding related questions and links, etc.
When you have met the requirements and are ready to take the next step, email supervisor @ answers.com (remove spaces) to be considered. Make sure to include your interest in becoming either a Category or Floating Supervisor and provide your User ID. We'll do a quick review of your previous contributions and contact you ASAP.

You can't. You'd have to contact a senior supervisor and see if they're able to. However, inappropriate questions can be trashed by any regular supervisor.

Can a Supervisor be promoted to an even higher level?
A Supervisor can become an Advanced Supervisor and get more tools, but they are not "higher" than regular Supervisors. They can also become a Senior Supervisor, but they don't get additional powers.
