Well there are many responsibilities being a Cardiologist but since there are so many different fields in cardiology I will give you the round trip information on it all mostly. You have the responsibility of screwing up and either injuring the patient and killing him it doesn't matter what gender I was referring to dieing is dieing, which is why every month you give a percentage to the insurance company that way if you did screw up you have someone to fall back on basically its just like a circus net which keeps the tight rope performer from falling to his death if something that goes wrong. The hours are plain horrible you could be at home and they call you in for an emergency surgery but that's pretty slim due to their being other cardiologists being there. You can go around the clock and you barely get to see your kids and wife THAT YOU HAD MARRIED which is why some medical marriages do not last at all unless the woman really loves you dearly. You could see 25-30 people a day being a Non-invasive Cardiologist their job is plain and simple they see what they are able to do by looking at your Heart disease and try and see if MEDS. can cure it, if not they will refer you to a cardiologist that has done a heart surgery in the Med.
