It is every citizens right and responsibility to know the governing laws, and to be an active participant in the judicial process.

As a juror, it is your right to know that you can vote your conscience even if you disagree with the law or issue at hand. Judges will not inform of this special right, as the justice system believes it is your responsibility to know this already.

As a defendant, it is also your right and responsibility to be active in your entire case, and ascerting the power that you get the final decision in the strategy process, even if it disagrees with your attorney.

As a citizen it is your right and responsibility to keep current with bills that are trying to be passed into legislation, and take an active part in keeping others accountable for answering questions relating directly to the material and wording.
