They have to be a United States citizen.

Before going to war they must have approval from Congress( however, presidents have found a way around this in the past)

They can veto any law passed by Congress. However, Congress can overturn a veto-ed law.

Every US citizen of age 18 or older is eligible to vote. Pre-registration is required and you must go to the poll assigned to you or else go through the proper procedure to vote by absentee ballot or vote early. Proper identification may be required at the polling place before you can vote.
