1. Body Chains trap- A man named Troy is in a classroom in his undies with chains hooked all over his body in his skin. Jigsaw appears on video and tells Troy to rip the chains out of his skin and leave the room before the bomb explodes. Troy pulls the first chain out an keeps going, screaming in pain. He finally gets to the last chain which is in his mouth. He tries to pull it out but can't and he dies from the bomb exploding.

2. Ribcage Harness- Kerry(a Jigsaw detective) is hanging above the ground with hooks in her ribcage. Jigsaw appears on a TV and says to Kerry that if she doesn't unlock the trap that the hooks will rip her ribcage out. The tape ends and Kerry notices the key is in a jar of acid. She reaches her hand in to the acid to try to get the key but fails on her first attempt. She tries again and finally gets the key and unlocks the trap but she can't take the hooks off her ribs. Amanda( the Jigsaw killer) walks in and Kerry realizes that the trap is inescapable, like the body chains trap. She grabs onto the chains above and the trap rips her ribcage out and she dies.

3. The Freezer Room- A man named Jeff walks into a freezer and notices a girl named Danica chained up naked in the room. Jeff notices a tape recorder and Jigsaw says that she was the only witness to his sons murder but she didn't do anything to help. All of a sudden the hoses next to her start spraying her with water, freezing her quicker. Jeff notices the key behind some pipes and tries to reach for it. With one final attempt he gets the key to free Danica but she already froze solid. Jeff then leaves to his next test.

4. The Pig Vat- Jeff walks into a meat packing room and hears a man yelling for help. He walks up the stairs and notices Judge Halden in a huge vat chainedby the neck to the bottom. Jeff notices a tape recorder that reminds Jeff of how little time in prison Halden gave Jeff's son's murderer and that to rescue him he had to burn his son's possesions to get the key.When the tape recorder ends pigs on this conveyor belt thing start dropping pigs into a blender which go into Halden's vat threatening to drown him. Jeff goes and burns his son's possesions, gets the key, and frees Halden.

5. The Rack Trap- Jeff and Halden walk into a room and find Jeff's son's murderer(Timothy) strapped to a crucifix like thing. Jeff listens to the tape around Timothy's neck which tells him to get the key in time or the trap will start to twist Tim's arms, legs, and head completely backwards. the tape ends and the trap starts twisting his arm backwards. Halden fins the key in a glass box attached to a shotgun and if thjey take the key they will get shot. The trap twists Tim's arms backwards, folowed by his backwards with the bones sticking out. Jeff gets the key and moves out of the way, but the gun shoots Haslden in the head killing him. Once Halden dies the trap starts to twist Tim's head around. Jeff loomks for the keyhole but can't find it and Tim's head gets completely twisted backwards killing him. This trap was also inescapable.

6. The Shotgun Collar- This trap was introduced before the freezer room. Lynn Dunlin( a docter, and Jeff's wife) is in a room with Amanda and Jigsaw. Amanda tells Lynn that she has to keep Jon9 Jigsaw) alive until Jeff gets there or the collar around her neck wil blow her face off. She manages to keep Jigsaw alive long enough to be set free but Amanda won't let Lynn go. John pleads with Amanda to let Lynn go but she refuse. Finally, Jeff gets there but Amanda shoots Lynn in the back so Jeff shoots Amanda in the throat, killing her. John then tells Jeff to either forgive or forget. Jeff chooses forgive but slices John's throat with a blade, killing him, so John plays a tape recorder saying that he murdered Jeff's son. When the tape ends and John is totally dead, Lynn's collar activates and blows her face off, killing her. They show that Jeff dies from getting shot in the next saw movie right after Lynn dies.
