I have been taking Holy Basil for 3 months and have not noticed any negative side-effects. On the positive side, I have not had a single Asthma attack while on this herb. I started taking Holy Basil in pill form as a way to reduce asthma symptoms in the winter.

I was thrilled when I realized that I made it through the winter without a single asthma attach. This is amazing considering that I have been asthmatic for six years and have been dealing with highly unpleasant side-effects of using a steroid inhaler.
