I had a hamster of my own when i was around 9. And, before she got sick, some signs i notices was that she had diarrhea and was VERY territorial and aggressive. She would bit and bear her teeth. There are probably lots more symptoms.....but these are just the signs of an upcoming sickness. Hope my info was a bit of a help. :)
An unhealthy hamster may have sticky fur around their eyes due to discharge, a patchy coat of fur, the sides of their body may be caved in due to lack of food, their nose is damp, they may be lethargic and disinterested in their surroundings, and their 'anal' region may be smeared with fecal matter because of a dirty cage.
signs that your hamster can be sick:
-loss of fur
-no appetite
-is afraid of the light
-never comes out of their hamster home even when it's nightime
-sneezing
-wet tail: is very very dangerous to hamsters. when their bottom is wet not only when they pee, but all the time
-red itchy spots
-wet, teary eyes
They don't move very much, sleep a lot, stop eating and get kinda cranky.
bBring your hamster to the vet.
There are not any signs of hamsters in the dessert
dying of what be more specific.
Vital Signs - 1997 Dying to Sleep was released on: USA: 1997
go to vet getting fat squiking
ah it looks dead
The mother must not be feeding it or it is sick so the mother ate it!
Hamsters do not have a long life spand, they will only live 2 to 4 years.
Um..this is just my opinion but isn't everything limp after they're dead?
im sorry to hear that, but the best possible solution is unfortunately,to put it down :(
The more signs present, the greater the chance of death. A patient with less than three positive Ranson's signs has a less than 5% chance of dying. A patient with three to four positive Ranson's signs has a 15-20% chance of dying.
how old is he/she and what are the signs? sickness or oldness?
