∙ 11y agoSumerians lived first in the area known as Mesopotamia. Then Akkadian peoples invaded the lands. Babylonians and Assyrians are Akkadians, and they spoke akkadian languages, when sumerians spoke sumerian languages. But they all have basically the same gods, they have just different names in sumerian and akkadian languages.
