The person taking the morphine becomes very sleepy, slow, looks like there half awake, and doesn't do much besides sleep. It is terrible watching someone get addicted to this drug because it consumes their life. They can become so dependent that they sell or pawn off items that used to be important just to get more morphine. It is very sad to see someone fall into this terrible habit and extremely difficult to get them to stop. It is a drug that can tear apart a family. I would highly recommend avoiding it, even though it does relieve pain, the side effects are far worse, not to mention the effects of withdrawal.
