The question can't be answered without a serial number. You can call Colt with the serial number and they will tell you.

You know Ping Irons are authentic by looking at the hosel. It should have a serial number. Then contact Ping and ask for the specs from the serial number.
Contact the maker.

You would have to contact Springfield Armoury directly about that. I suspect you may have to wait for a reply, as Springfield isn't the actual manufacturer of the XD series pistols - they're manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia.

My 21st edition of Gun Traders Guide lists the sears model 54 in 30-30 at @$155 it was made by winchester, and has as same general specs as the model 94, no model 100 shown. Hope this helps a little. This has got to be the wierdest cooinceident I have ever seen. I too own a Ted Williams Model 100 rifle with the exact same serial number that you have listed here. I was randomly searching for rifles and values and came across this info and was shocked to learn that the serial numbers matched. Several thousand people have guns with the same number. It's a Sears Roebuck ID number, not a serial number. My model 100 has the serial # under the reciever. The blue book of firearms lists my serial # as 1964 manufacture. V88XXX.
