There were infact recalls on many of the 2005 Cadillac models, most pretty minor though. Models included the CTS, CTS-V, Escalade, Escalade EXT, SRX, STS, and XLR.

Both the Cadillac CTS V and the Lincoln MKX are mid-size sedans. They are similar in pricing, performance and features; however, they are somewhat different in design style. The Cadillac CTS V is a sportier model while the Lincoln MKX is more classic in appearance.
