1. Right click your mouse on a blank area of your desktop screen where there are no icons
2. You will see a flyout with options on it. Left click the one that says "New Folder"
3. The label for the new folder appears in blue under the new folder you just created. While it is still highlighted in blue you need to type your desired name for the folder. Note: If you click anywhere on the desktop before renaming your new folder will be named simply "New Folder". Should this happen, you will then have to rename it.
