This depends on if the eclipse is automatic or manual and also if it is the turbo model or the non-turbo model.

With an OBD2 scanner.
It is all depends if you got a turbo or non-turbo. Non-turbo 1995-1999 have on top side of the transmission right in front of the cooling fans.
4.7 Quarts for Turbo 2.0L Engine. 4.6 Quarts for Non Turbo 2.0L Engine
Yes, you can, but there is a chance that you will need to change transmission and everything what is going inside the engine. The problem is that Mitsubishi engine parts from different engines are not compatible (it can be turbo Japanese engine, or non-turbo crysler engine and so on).
A Spyder GS is a non turbo car. A GS-T on the other hand is a turbo car. Hope this helps
150 hp, 215 ft.-lbs. of torque
from 1995 - 1999 the cars are all the same only difference is the turbo but yes the engines will all swap around with maybe just a coulpe new parts
It's true that eclipse shares engine with crysler. I'm not sure that turbo was one of those engines. The best way is to call local dealer and ask them, or try calling the Mitsubishi itself. I would say that, these engines are not interchangeable.
250 hp and 530 nm torque The 1998 Chevy 454 had stock HP figure at 290 and torque at 410lb ft.
