Your local repair shop may want to replace the computer for many dollars if the ranger hesistates or tries to die altogether Often it is one of the engines many sensors instead such as the mass air sensor, air temp sensor or engine temp sensor If you problem is hesistation or stumbling try some quality fuel system cleaner and or new igniton parts such as plugs cap and rotor Dont forget that darn fuel filter too
