Black Mold Infection

Black molds cause a wide variety of diseases. If these fungi get into breaks in the skin, they can form large warts or cauliflower-like lesions in the skin. They can alos cause areas of swelling and redness that may constantly leak fluid and be associated with pain and discomfort. Other molds may infect toenails or fingernails causing discoloration and cracking.

Patients with defects in immunity (for example organ transplant patients receiving immuno suppressing agents to prevent rejection) may inhale these fungi and develop serve pneumonia. These molds can also become lodged in the air sinuses and causes sinusitis that fails to improve with antibiotic and decongestant theraphy. In some cases iunfection can spread to the brain or even enter the blood strem resulting in spread throughout the body.

Here are some symptoms you may experience with toxic black mold poisoning:

-Stomach Pain, recurring colds, acid reflux, balance problems, chills, burning in mouth or throat, body aches and muscle pain, altered immunity, cholesterol irregularities, coated tongue, night sweats and hot flashes, open skin sores and lacerations, physical weakness, lack of appetite, puffy or droopy eyes, sensitivity to smells/ odors, sneezing fits, pitting up mucus, swollen lymph nodes, tremors, prolonged joint pain, depression and anxiety, diarrhea, difficulty swallowing, dirt or metallic taste in mouth, vision problems (burning, red, or watery eyes), face flushing intermittenly, food Allergies, frequent bloody nose, frequent infections, hair loss, irritability, mood swings, and spleen pain.

You don't necessarily have to have every one of these symptoms to think you have toxic black mold poisoning, but if you are experiencing a lot of these symptoms it is very likely you have black mold. For black mold to grow there needs to be a source of water or a damp area, such as basements, walls(especially where pipes are), and even floors and under carpets. If black mold is in your carpet the only way to clean it is to remove it. I myself have experienced black molds in my apartment. I live in the basement, and the laundry room is next to my apartment and i have open pipes in my home. We also think it is in our carpet. I had many of these symptoms myself. Make sure to find the source of the black mold if possible and either clean it or professionally remove it. You can tell if its black mold. It will feel slimy to the touch and will smear. If you do find black mold and it is dried, you will need to get a professional. Do not scratch or scrape it if it is dried. The spores can be very dangerous and you can release them in the air and could inhale it. After testing for it, or finding, I do believe there are blood tests you can take to find out the toxicity in your blood. But I am also pretty sure that it is hard for doctors to diagnose enviromental illnesses so if you have a hunch, let your doctor know. I know that i was getting bad headaches, sinus infections, upper respritory infections every few weeks, bad tastes in my mouth, sensitivity to smells, and was getting rashes on my skin. Those were the big ones. I also had problems with my vision. My eyes would burn and water but after a while I developed a fog over my eyes. Hopefully this information helps. If you think you have some of these symptoms and you think its from toxic black mold... DO NOT HESITATE to do something about it. Prolonged exposure is not good for you. You can develop cancer and many respritory diseases.

Sorry what?

Black mold can be very toxic so before trying to get rid of mold, have it tested by a professional. If you have been exposed to black mold you may experience neurological, respiratory, or circulatory symptoms, vision impairment, skin problems, reproductive or immune problems, or even other illnesses.

Black mold is a very serious health risk, yet most people aren’t aware of what it is or what the symptoms are. The reason for this may be that not all black mold is harmful; in fact most black molds are just irritating at worst. However, some people are allergic to black mold, and others can become poisoned by it if the mold is in the right conditions.

So, what are some symptoms of black mold? Well some are going to be hard to diagnose because they are very similar to a common cold. Coughing, stuffy nose, sneezing, headaches, random aches and pains, and fatigue are some of the general symptoms that you may notice if you have been exposed to black mold.

There are other more severe symptoms however, red eyes, nausea, loss of memory, infertility, liver pain, urinary tract infections, Asthma, dizziness, blood in the lungs, or even a change in blood pressure. As you can see, none of these symptoms are anything to mess around with. While any of these symptoms don’t necessarily mean that you have a black mold problem, it means that you could have a black mold problem.

One thing you want to remember is not just to check your symptoms, but to also check the symptoms of your immediate surrounding such as your house or work area. If you see a high level of moisture, random stains, or sense a funny odor than your home or work may be contaminated with black mold. Remember that your symptoms are important, but if you think you have black mold symptoms, also check the areas you normally occupy to check for signs as well.

If any of the signs and symptoms are present the very best thing to do is to seek medical attention immediately. While most black mold problems will lead to nothing to be too concerned about, some, as noted earlier, are very serious and can cause you plenty of problems. Don’t hesitate because the longer you wait, the more likely you are to get some sort of black mold poisoning and if you do see signs around where you live or work, have them checked into and taken care of right away. There is no sense in risking yourself to exposure to something that can be dangerous.

Black Mold Symptoms: How to Recognize Toxic Black Mold Syndrome?

It is common knowledge that most buildings are prone to infestations of mold, but it is not common knowledge that there are different types of molds and that one of these types, toxic black mold, can cause the life-threatening condition known as Toxic Black Mold Syndrome. Mold can grow almost anywhere, including behind that leaky bathroom sink or on that geriatric piece of bread at the back of the fridge, and toxic black mold only needs shade and moisture to thrive. A mold infestation will, sooner or later, release live mold spores into the air, and people who live or work in the area will be in danger of developing black mold symptoms after they inhale the spores. Toxic Black Mold Syndrome is a potentially fatal disease that affects, among other things, the body’s central nervous system, immune system, gastrointestinal system and respiratory system. Black mold symptoms are incredibly difficult to recognize as they are extremely varied, and it is therefore usually some time before a correct diagnosis is made. Common symptoms of this insidious disease include abdominal pain, shortness of breath, dizziness and fatigue, and, given the general nature of these symptoms, it can easily be seen why Toxic Black Mold Syndrome can be so difficult to identify. The syndrome does, however, also produce several highly specific symptoms - including an earth-like taste in the mouth - which are relatively rare and which make diagnosing the disease that much easier. If anyone experiences black mold symptoms - which also include fibromyalgia, anxiety, headaches and numbness - they should immediately consult a physician and should also engage a professional contractor to determine whether their home or office is infested with toxic black mold. If the presence of toxic black mold is confirmed, they should then take immediate steps to eradicate the infestation as Toxic Black Mold Syndrome is an extremely serious condition that could lead to death and that is also particularly harmful to children. In order to resolve potential problems before they begin, it is also recommended that any house, apartment or office that has been subjected to leaks or flooding be tested for mold on a regular basis.

What color is the most dangerous type of mold?

Black mold is the most commonly hazardous mold that occurs. It can cause symptoms such as headaches, upper respiratory tract infections, and health problems as severe as Aspergillums.
