Paranoia, sleep deprivation, hallucinations, tooth decay, aggression, starvation and of course addiction.

There are many different recipes and procedures for creating Meth. Originally it was created by the Japanese from Ephedrine, reduced with red Phosphorus and Iodine. The product was called Hiropon (Philopon to English speakers) and subsequently in Germany as Pervitin. It was available in drug stores and there were even chocolate candies that contained Meth.

More recently, Anhydrous Ammonia is often used, as are several household cleaners, industrial chemicals and even lipids such as Chocolate and Peanut Butter. Not to mention cutters (adulterants) of all kinds.

Pure Meth is often called "glass" or "ice," it is generally more expensive than crude or cut forms but in the end the only thing a tweaker will be asking for is called "S H I T," in whatever form available. And that's exactly what s/he ends up with.
