From my understanding, prader-willi syndrome is a condition whereby the person has no ability to control what is eaten. It is a disorder of the brain and causes persons to eat paper, erasers, etc. They have no conception of when to stop eating food as well. As a result, food has to be locked up to keep them from overeating. I worked with a student who had this condition, and she also had a tumor on her brain that was removed. I have absolutely no idea if the two are related. My best advice is to ask a Doctor Who specializes in this type of syndrome.
