Apart from responding to emergency calls in the case of fire or serious road traffic incidents, there are other roles the fire service is required to do, such as promoting fire safety, animal rescue, fitting smoke detectors and preserving evidence at the scene of a deliberate fire (arson). They also complete a main task of educating the children. It is the fire services responsibility to protect our community from fire hazards and educate the future generations with vital information, on the topic of fire safety and fire dangers so they can act upon the knowledge being taught.
