Heart rate, blood pressure regulation, digestion, temperature regulation, and bladder control would be most directly affected by a diseased autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system controls these involuntary bodily functions.

The nervous system is broken into the central and autonomic nervous systems. The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. The autonomic nervous system contains the peripheral nerves.
the somatic system control everything
I think you mean the 'Autonomic' nervous system. It is responsible for regulating internal organs, among other things.
The peripheral nervous system has two main systems that use cranial and spinal nerves: the somatic nervous system and the autonomic nervous system. The somatic nervous system controls voluntary movements and sensations, while the autonomic nervous system controls involuntary processes such as heart rate, digestion, and respiration.
The sympathetic nervous system is the "fight or flight" part -- in times of stress, it is what kicks in to get things handled. Once the danger is removed (or stress), the parasympathetic kicks in, which calms you down.

Pre-g nicotinic stimulation to adrenal medulla which releases adrenaline (epinephrine)
The messages of the nervous system are relayed by nervous impulses, which are very fast and short-acting. In contrast, the messages of the endocrine system are sent via chemical messengers (hormones) distributed by the circulatory system. This distribution in your blood is much slower than the electrical impulses of the nervous system.
Autonomic Nervous System is part of the peripheral nervous system (in the limbs and parts of the body outside the Brain and spinal cord) which is INVOLUNTARY, and not under our concious control. Thus it controls things like the heart and breathing that we need in order to survive. it is the opposite to the somatic nervous system which is voluntary. like arm muscle movements etc. the ANS uses sympathetic (adrenaline) and parasympathetic (acetylcholine) controls. motor fibers that conduct nerve impulses from the CNS to smooth muscle, cardiac muscle, and glands :)
The nerves of the somatic nervous system control many different things. They carry the sensory data into the spinal cord, carry information into and out of the brain stem, and integrate sensory input and motor output.
