You might also want to look at the WikiAnswers question "What are the Ten Commandments?", which spell out many prohibitions.
(To improve this, I add that the Old Testament has many laws that relate to many things - however, Christianity itself does not pay attention to many of these rules, including eating pork. However, some Christians pay attention to only some rules, rules against homosexuality are some of the few.
It all depends on your viewpoint of how to perceive The Bible and various other things - how the taught and moral standards, ect.)

∙ 13y agoWell... murder, steal, commit adultery, etc. Life values. There are no real barricades for life in my sect, the protestant Baptist one. You just have to accept Jesus Christ. No good deeds necessary, really. Catholics have larger restrictions, but nothing much.

∙ 12y agoThe idea of the Sabbath is to have a day of rest, but also to give it to God. There is not a long list of things you can and cannot do. Many use their day of Sabbath to reflect on things like the goodness, faithfulness, and the provision of God over the past week. When a person does do something it should be done to the glory of God, but this should also be how a Christian strives to live every day of their lives; for the glory of God.
