The three sisters are located in New South Wales Australia. the three sisters are a rock formation in the Blue Mountains. the three sisters are called Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo, who lived in Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba Tribe. they fell in love with three other men who were from the Nepean Tribe. But marriage was forbidden by the Tribal laws. the three men were not happy about this law and decided to use force to get the three sisters. there was a major battle between the tribes and in order to protect the three sisters the eldest of the tribe turned them into three large stones. since the elder was killed during the battle the three sisters could not be turned into their normal human selves.
