torque specs for rod and oil pan on 2005 4.0
Oil Pan torque on the small block Chevy V8 is 12 lb/ft.

drain the oil from the vehicle, unbolt the oil pan, scrape old gasket from pan and crankcase. check the torque specifications for the oil pan bolts (shouldnt be very high). replace the gasket and oil pan to factory torque specs. put drain plug back in and fill with factory specs of oil.

Not really sure if you are asking about the oil pan torque, it's 12lbs. see link for other torque specs.

According to my haynes Gm manual... 120 inch pounds.
The torque specs for the oil pan bolts are 105 inch lbs. Tighten all of the pan bolts snug to make sure everything lines up before tightening all of the bolts to spec.
