The zd30 has a hydraulic tensioner using an idler pulley to automatically tension the serpentine belt.
The timing marks on a Nissan ZD 30 diesel engine can be found on the front of the flywheel. The timing marks are scattered around the outside of the flywheel.
What motor is in it? ZD30? If so they have a timing chain, not a belt.
This engine uses a cartridge filter and is situated in an aluminum cover on the right side from the front of the engine.
why in life would you want to do that the 3.2 is a very slow motor 77kw the zd30 107kw on the fly and not even wan to talk about the 2.7 which is close to 55kw. yes it is possible and gonna be cheaper to buy an 1999 model hardbody. the 3.2 and 2.7 engine is mechanical engine with no ecu and with mechanical fuel pumps. i wont recommend it and its more heavy on fuel .
The Nissan Terrano is manufactured in Spain and sold in Europe. I don't know the regulations there, but any car sold in the US on or after 01Jan1996 the OBDII port must be within 3 feet of the driver and require no tools to access. But that does not mean it's in plain sight, sometimes hidden behing ashtrays, cupholders or the like, but usually right under the dashboard
