Triggers are used to create certain events. For example the modify proto unit trigger can create custom hp, speed, attack hack and defence armour and all that stuff. You can also use combinations of triggers to create a shop. For example you can make it when a unit goes in that certain area the amour of gold needed is taken away and the unit/godpower will apear in the desired place.
