Nondeadly force can be used to repel either a nondeadly attack or a deadly attack. Deadly Force may be used to fend off an attacker who is using deadly force but may not be used to repel an attacker who is not using deadly force.
While each case is unique, likely as not this is not an example of self-defense. The requirements of a self-defense plea are simple: the victims is being attacked, the victim legitimately believes he cannot escape and has no other recourse but to respond to his attacker with equal or greater force necessary for the victim to subdue his attacker or escape. Of course it will always be up to a judge whether or not the force used sufficiently represents self-defense.

Answer Self-defense involves more than fighting. It involves having secure locks on sturdy doors, outdoor flood lights, and alarm systems, perhaps a large guard dog or two, etc. So if gone about just right self-defense can keep you pretty safe, but there are always exceptions.
The force of attraction or repulsion between two magnetic materials.
Under the rules of occupation in 1945, Japan was ordered to comply with US/Allied restrictions: War is illegal for Japan to engage in; other than self defense. That is why the Armed Forces of Japan are now called "SELF DEFENSE FORCES." Actually it is simply a NAME CHANGE; The Self Defense Air Force can still fight; the Self Defense Ground Force can still fight; and the Maritime Self Defense Force has warships. Added to the NAME CHANGE is Japan's Law (Ordered by the Occupation Forces): These Forces CANNOT engage in "Combat" (other than in self-defense); such as Operation Desert Storm in January to February 1991. Japan could send NON-COMBAT units to Iraq, but not Fighter Planes, tanks, Infantrymen, and Warships. They could send Engineer Units, Medical Units, Administrative Support Units, Transportation Units, etc. These restrictions were similar to that applied to Germany after WW1. Germany was not allowed a Large Army, Air Force, or Navy (especially submarines). Only enough armed forces to defend themselves. However, history has shown that Germany got around these restrictions, as they did re-arm and end up fighting in WW2.
Self defense murder is when you kill in the name of self defense. For example- Mrs. Klein is walking down the street with a box a culinary that she has just purchased for her new home with her husband Harold. She is on Milton Ave. when she realized that there is somebody following her. Just when she is about to run, the man attacks her. She thinks fast and pulls out a knife from her culinary box. When the man tries to grab her to take her away to do God knows what, she stabs him. That is self defense murder, because some would call it self defense, and others would call it murder, because of how it would stand up in court. I hope i answered your question!
The type of force that occurs between any two objects is gravitational force. This force is responsible for the attraction between objects with mass and is what keeps planets in orbit around the sun and objects on Earth's surface.
The type of force when the surfaces of two objects touch is called contact force. This force occurs when two objects are in direct physical contact with each other. Examples include friction, normal force, and tension.
really, all types of friction can be thought of as self adjusting forces, since they arise only because of some initial force. you have a good question, we should start calling them static self adjusting force, kinetic self adjusting force, and rolling self adjusting force. also the frictional force is dependant on the weight of the object and the surface, not the speed, so using the word kinetic can be misleading.
