Turmeric is one of the most beneficial spices that is known to man. But to reap the maximum health benefit out of turmeric, you have to add another spice to the mix: black pepper. Organic turmeric powder and organic black pepper powder are both potent and flavorful spices in their own right. Both have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may help to alleviate or prevent inflammatory conditions and reduce free radical damage. One of my simplest ways to incorporate the flavors of turmeric and black pepper is to make a latte with 1 tbsp of turmeric and 1/2 tsp of black pepper. You could also incorporate ginger, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla in addition to turmeric and black pepper for maximum spice and flavor. I personally would recommend the organic ground spices from Organic Tattva as they use no pesticides or fertilizers and are nutrient dense.
