The women in the middle ages had the same roles and jobs as women today. They bore the babies, took care of the family and home. They cooked food, washed dishes and clothes and kids. They often farmed the food for the family and some even had jobs or small businesses to provide extra income or the main income for the family. They took care of their husbands or extended family. They nursed their family members when they were sick. It never changes. Men do some of that now but mainly they leave it up to us women.
