Diocesan priests (priests that are pastors of parishes) take a promise of celibacy.
Religious priests (priests that are members of religious orders) take vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Some religious orders have additional vows specific to that order (e.g. the Jesuits take a vow of specific obedience to the Pope).
Your question is a little confused, priests do NOT make vows unless they are religious. Religious is a technical term in the Catholic Church which refers to a member of a Religious Order, like a monk, friar, nun, sister, etc. Religious make vows, that is the nature of their vocation and they make them whether they become a priest or not, in the matter of sisters and nuns, there is no possibility of them becoming priests.
Priests must have made a promise of celibacy (which is a solemn promise not to attempt marriage) but they make the promise before they are ordained to the diaconate, unless they are ordained according to the Extraordinary Form in which case, they make that promise before they are ordained to the subdiaconate.
Priests also make a promise (not a vow) of obedience to their bishop and his successors. Those are the only two promises that a priest will have to make before he is ordained.
A religious priest, however, must already be solemnly professed in his order before he makes his solemn profession. Those men, along with women who are in religious orders make three vows or promises, it's a little technical, but basically there are two different sets:
Religious who are in the Benedictine Tradition make three vows:
1) Stability
2) Conversatio Morum (roughly conversion of manners)
3) Obedience
Religious who are not in the Benedictine Tradition usually do not make vows, but promises, which may be simple, solemn, or perpetual. The three promises, which is what the person asking the question is probably looking for are:
1) Poverty
2) Chastity
3) Obedience
Jesuits, different in all things, take a fourth vow of special, immediate, and unquestioning obedience to the reigning Holy Father.
He takes vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience.
To serve the people in honesty and truth
you will say your vows and the priest will then pronounce you man and wife.
A monk or a priest in some religious orders. Secular priest take vows of chastity and obedience only.
When a man becomes a priest.
A Catholic priest is a man who dedicates himself to the Church. He takes vows of poverty chastity and obedience. His life is usually spent serving as a pastor for different parishes.
When a man is Ordained to the priesthood, he receives the sacrament of Holy Orders
There is no such title, as there is no such thing. A nun is a religious woman who makes lifelong vows of stability, conversatio morum, and obedience. A priest is a man who is ordained by a Bishop to offer the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. As Pope St. John Paul II said, it is metaphysically impossible for a women to be ordained to the priesthood.
Yes, if he had been married and had been a priest in a similar religion - Orthodox or Anglican. He may keep his wife when he becomes a Catholic priest. A Catholic man who is a widower can also become a priest but may not remarry.

He's a Christian. I was at his concert last week and he just went on and on about how the world needs MORE religeon. He's such a good man! He said he hopes his little baby becomes a priest. PRAISE THE LORD
Holy Orders- it is the scarament received when being ordained Deacon, Priest, and Bishop
The high priest who said it was expedient for one man to die for the people was Caiaphas. This statement is found in the Gospel of John in the New Testament.
For "a man" to become a priest would be called an impossibility - he would first need to be trained and educated and hold various positions within the Church hierarchy in "minor Orders". Only after spending considerable time in this way would he be ordained a priest by a bishop or archbishop. The word you are looking for is ordained.
