The major landforms encountered during the Lewis and Clark expedition include the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains, Columbia River, Missouri River, and the Louisiana Purchase territory. These diverse landscapes presented both challenges and opportunities for the expedition as they navigated their way westward to the Pacific Ocean.

Then Clark would follow Yellowstone River east to meet the Missouri River and the expedition would continue.
Sacagewea.Actually, if you think about if for a moment, it shouldn't be called the "Lewis and Clark Expedition". They had no idea where to go if Sacagewea didn't assist them!It should be called the "Sacagewea Expedition" :)
The Clark Fork River is located in Montana and Idaho. The highest elevation of the river is at Mount Evans in Montana at 10,641 feet.
The exploration for Louisiana was called the Lewis and Clark expedition.
