More than likely, they are the ones that communicate between the driver's controls and dash controls to the engine and engine computer, as well as the lights up front. If you don't know what they are don't mess with it. Anything that is wired in a car such as your headlights, wipers, horn, fuel pump etc, goes through a series of fuses and relays.
