Is Wellbutrin XL a steroid?
Not a good idea. Both lower the seizure threshold, and depending on your dosage, and what types of steroids, your risk for a seizure could skyrocket.
My son is on Wellbutrin-xl 300mg tabs once a day. He is out and didn't plan well he has some Wellbutrin-xl 150 tabs at home and i was wondering if he could take 2 of the 150mg to make 300 mg.?
That should be fine. I have combined two lower dosage pills to make a higher dose many times myself and was told by my doctor that it was perfectly safe.To be on the safe side you could call the pharmacy number on the bottle and confirm with the pharmacist on duty. Or in my case, the pharmacy was no help, and instead I had to get in touch with my doctor instead. :/Remember, when taking Wellbutrin XL (not Wellbutrin SR, don't confuse the two):1) Take WELLBUTRIN XL at the sametime each day. (not 8 or 12 hours apart).2) Take your doses of WELLBUTRIN XL at least 24 hours apart.3) If you miss a dose, simply wait until your usual dosing time to take it, try not to adjust your dose times without consulting your doctor first.
Can you combine Wellbutrin XL and pristiq?
yespristiq raises nor-epinephrine or epinephrine and serotonin while wellbutrin raises dopamine and I think epinephrine. or adrenaline
