Wolves surroundings depend on where they live. Arctic wolves live in snowy areas like tundras, like Antarctica. So they have surroundings of snow, ice, and freezing water. But wolves like the Gray wolf or the Timber wolf live in forests. Where there are hills, rocks, dirt, grass, trees (coniferous or deciduous) and fresh water. The Mexican wolf lives in deserts where there is sand, dry dirt, mountains, cacti, and very little water.
