There is no short answer to your question except to say, that most times they have it pretty rough. It is an outside job, It goes on year round in all types of conditions. Picture -mountains, Snow,Rain,Heat,Mud,Bugs,Dogs,People,Cars,Reptiles, just to name a few. All this while being very precise . No body wants to give up even an inch of the property they own. And in engineering , you can't be off measurement at all. But if you like adventure, and you are the outdoors type, this can be a very good career.
