Everybody knows that keeping a snake like a cobra is a pain in the butt but there are snakes that are are not poisonous that are bad pets too. Ball pythons that are not captive bred are full of parasites, flying snakes need a big enclosure, African rock snakes are painful too, and boa constrictors and reticulated pythons are very not good pets to keep.
Uhmmm...ok. Wow. First off, no such thing as a "bald" python. There are ball pythons, but no bald ones... Secondly, no snakes are "poisonous". There are venomous snakes, but no snake secrets toxins from it's skin. All the venomous snakes inject their toxins through fangs. However, no pythons or boas are venomous. In fact, the only venomous snakes that are available widely for sale in the pet trade are garter snakes and hognoses, and both of those are rear fanged venomous.
I wouldn't recommend one - they're a highly-venomous species, who's bite can be deadly to humans.
All snakes are non-poisonous but there are venomous snakes as well as snakes that are non-venomous. Rat snakes, gopher snakes, king snakes, garter snakes and boas and pythons are some examples of non-venomous snakes.
There are many species of snakes that are considered dangerous, and not just the poisonous ones. Some of these dangerous snakes (some are venomous, some aren't) are listed below (venomous snakes are italicized, non venomous aren't):Pit ViperRattle SnakeBoa ConstrictorReticulated PythonKing Brown SnakeKing CobraSpitting CobraWestern Diamondback rattlesnakeGreen Python
The most popular VENOMOUS snake to have as a pet is.....a PIGMY RATTLESNAKE.
you dont unless youre hungry Stupidity should do the trick! Seriously though, don't. You have no good reason to go out without a permit and mess with a venomous snake minding its own business. If you want it as a pet, it's usually illegal. And what's the point when there are plenty of CAPTIVE BRED nonvenomous snakes (and venomous) for sale legally?
I'm afraid I can't give you an exact statistic on this, but I can tell you that it's incredibly rare. Not only that, but almost all casualties caused by pet snakes can be avoided by simply being smart about how you handle your pet. First of all, don't get a venomous snake or a large constrictor until you have a reasonable amount of experience working with snakes. For venomous snake, you're going to want one EXPERIENCED handler per 4 feet of snake, at LEAST. Most pet snake casualties are caused by constrictions, not bites, so use common sense. Don't try to medicate a 15ft python on your own. Remember, a snake's body (especially a constrictor) is pretty much pure muscle. It's not too hard for it to overpower you. Things like garter snakes and corn snakes aren't going to kill you.
Yes, He owns a albino Burmese Python for a pet.
you can get non-poisonius snakes at most pet stores like pet smart, super pet ect.
No the scarlet king snake looks like a coral snake(poisonous) but the King snake is not Poisonous. There are other types of king snakes but none are poisonous.
You can purchase them for a marine aquarium but under no circumstances can you touch them. They have the worst venomous sting of all creatures, they have lots of barbs on their body that are full of venom, when people have been stung by these, they tend to beg the doctors to remove the effected limb, it is said to be the worst pain known to man. So they are not a recommended pet.
They're hardly 'pet' material - they're extremely venomous !
