As the Koran is the holy book of Islam, itere are the God's words in it. There are 114 chapters (suras) in the book consisting of more than 6, 000 short verses (ajas). It states the omnipotence of Allah and the obligation of the Muslims to believe in Allah alone (submission to the will of Allah). There is a description of the Day of Judgement, heaven and hell. The Koran is considered as the transcription of God's revelations. The most important message of the Holy Book of Islam is that God is the creator of the world and controls everything in it. Muslims must live their lives according to the rules of Koran and must perform the five duties of Islam:

A Muslim must acknowlwdge that there is no God, but Allah, They must pray five times a day facing Mecca; Each Muslim must pay a zagat (c.1/40 of their income) to the government; They must fast for the month of Ramadan ( commemorating the First Revelation - the Night of Power);a muslim must make a pilgrimage to Mecca once in his or her lifetime. Muslims prefer the original Koran written in Arabic.
